The draw for these competitions is now available on the website. on the subpages of informal competitions page.  Pairs and games have been drawn randomly by the computer.   If you are unable to access the website you need to speak to Martin who will tel you when your schedule of play in the first rounds.

General rules

The home team drawn is responsible for co-ordinating times and booking the rink.

Normal bowls rules apply for all games adapted for the Coronavirus according to club policy:

Mats not to be moved except to straighten

Jacks not to be cast in any game by hand but set with you foot.

No chalking of woods

Measuring allowed in informal competitions where one nominated player should measure except mixed singles where the marker will measure

Jacks should be cleaned after each game in the soapy water provided by the tap

Social distancing should be kept at all times

Keep the score. Results to be sent to person highlighted in bold for each competition by the winners as soon as possible after the game.

If after the last end in Pairs Competitions the score is a draw, a further additional end is to be played with one bowl only from each player.

In Aussie Pairs two players can be nominated as the measurers, one from each team to be at opposite ends.  Each to use their own measure. This is due to the requirement to change end in Aussie Pairs.
